Euro 2012 first day update:

The first game ended with a 1 - 1 draw between Poland and Greece. Poland were one - nill up at half time, with an extra man, but Greece equalised in the second half, Poland had a man sent off and then Greece had a penalty which was saved by the Polish keeper. It was an action packages opening game. The second game was a more one sided affair with with Russia dismantling the Czech Republic by 4 goals to one. The Russians took a 2 goal lead in the first 25 minutes and kept that lead until half time. The Czechs made a fight of it by scoring next but the Russians then powered through with another two goals to win 4 - 1.
