Spain saw of a luck lustre French team 2 - 0 in the 3rd quarter final to set up an interesting semi final with their neighbours Portugal.
Two goals from Xabi Alonso, one header on 20 minutes and a penalty on 91 minutes was enough to see off a poor French team who made little effort to try and win the game.
Tomorrow see the final quarter final as England Face Italy in what could be another attritional game.
