With less than two weeks left the country is now starting to get caught up in Olympic fever. There is currently a big debate about who lights the Olympic flame in the opening ceremony. Many people are debating between Sir Steve Redgrave and Daily Thompson.
Some people are also saying Lord Coe himself could do it as well as a combination of Steve and Daily.
David Beckham yesterday ruled himself out saying he thinks it should be a great Olympian but the debate rolls on.
Lord Coe is not likely to do it, as he will be busy doing other duties in his capacity as Head of the games organising committee do that leaves Sir Steve & Daily?
