Today at the Games:
One week after the spectacular Opening Ceremony, the Olympic Stadium will be packed out once more for the first day of Athletics at London 2012.
Day 7 features women’s 100m and 400m heats, and the women’s Heptathlon 100m Hurdles, 200m and High Jump, while medal events include the men’s Shot Put final and women’s 10,000m final.
In the aquatic centre Michael Phelps (USA) and Chad Le Clos (South Africa) are set to go head-to-head again in the 100m Butterfly.
