Today at the Olympics, Medal table, and events not to miss

Today at the Games:

After near misses in Cycling, Diving and Equestrian, Helen Glover and Heather Stanning have the opportunity to deliver Team GB's first gold medal of the Games in the Rowing women's Pair today at Eton Dorney.

Bradley Wiggins hopes to carry his Tour de France-winning form into the men's Cycling Individual Time Trial as he seeks a fourth Olympic gold and a British-record seventh Games medal.

Fellow Team GB ladies cyclist Lizzie Armitstead will be aiming for a podium finish in the women's Individual Time Trial at Hampton Court Palace to follow her silver in the women's Road Race. See today's full schedule

What's on

A top day of sport:

See the top men's Eights battle it out in the final on Dorney Lake this morning;
Greg Searle competes two decades after he stood on the podium in Barcelona.

The afternoon sees cyclists back on the road in pursuit of gold in the Individual Cycling Time Trials. There are plenty of places to watch and soak up the atmosphere.
